MAT 141 Precalculus
This is a combined course in college algebra and trigonometry designed to provide an adequate background for the study of calculus. Topics include complex numbers; polynomial, rational, exponential, logarithmic, trigonometric, and inverse trigonometric functions; trigonometric identities and equations; and other selected topics.
Prerequisite
Grade of “C-” or better in
MAT 131 or
MAT 131E, a math ACT score of 22 or better, an equivalent score on an appropriate placement test, or permission of the instructor.
