MAT 131 College Algebra

This course will focus on the study of functions, including polynomial, rational, exponential, and logarithmic functions, and their graphs. Applications are considered throughout.

Grade of “C-” or better in MAT 112, a math ACT score of 20 or better, or an equivalent score on an appropriate placement test.

• Students may not receive credit for both MAT 131 and MAT 131E.
• Credit is not allowed in MAT 131 after the student has earned a “C-” or better in MAT 141, MAT 142, MAT 241, or MAT 242.
