MAT 112 Introductory College Math
This is a one-semester course designed to prepare students for college-level mathematics courses. The course looks at polynomial, rational functions, and radicals, with a focus on solving equations and simplifying expressions. This course carries institutional credit but does not fulfill the mathematics requirement in the General Education Core.
Prerequisite
A math ACT score of 17 or 18, an equivalent score on an appropriate placement test, or completion of a developmental mathematics course (
MAT 100 or transfer) with a grade of “C-” or better.
