PHY 241 General Physics I
This course is an algebra- and trigonometry-based introduction to the basic principles of mechanics and thermodynamics. Topics include kinematics, Newton's Laws of Motion, energy, momentum, rotation, fluid dynamics, heat, and the laws of thermodynamics. Vibrations and waves may also be covered at the discretion of the instructor. The course includes three hours of lecture and three hours laboratory each week.
