PHY 105 Introduction to Astronomy

This course is an introduction to the study of the observable universe. Topics covered include observational astronomy, solar system astronomy, stellar life cycles, galaxies, and cosmology. This course will emphasize physical principles and conceptual understanding. Three hours lecture and three hours laboratory each week.
