NUR 463 Issues and Trends in Nursing for the RN

This course explores current national and international trends and critical issues impacting the professional nurse. Critical thinking skills are emphasized while focusing on topics that include the legal, political, ethical, economic, and accreditation forces impacting nursing practice and the delivery of healthcare. Three (3) hours theory. Prerequisite: Current admission to the RN-BSN program. Co-requisites: NUR 464; 465.
