MAT 231E Statistics Enhanced
In this course, we will introduce the key concepts of statistics, focusing on descriptive statistics, probability, and inferential statistics, including estimation and hypothesis testing. This course is intended to be useful to students from a variety of disciplines. This course includes 3 hours of lecture and 2 hours of skills lab per week.
Prerequisite
A math ACT score of 18 or better, an equivalent sub-score on an appropriate placement test, or completion of a developmental mathematics course (
MAT 100 or transfer) with a grade of “C-” or better.
