EDU 461 Internship I

This course is the practical application of coursework into a public school classroom with supervision by the mentor teacher and the university supervisor. Candidates will practice and develop their teaching techniques using coursework and experiential learning opportunities. They will plan and deliver lessons, develop curriculum materials, and adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students. Grades will be determined through lesson plans, reflections, observations/MicroTeach. This meets the first half of the required year-long internship.
