HIS 320 Ancient Greece and Rome

This course presents a survey of Greek civilization through the Hellenistic Age, and a treatment of Roman civilization to the fifth century A.D. with emphasis on literature, art, philosophy, political institutions, and political developments. Prerequisites: HIS 111, 112. Spring, alternate even-numbered years.
