The Capstone course allows students to demonstrate their ability to conduct independent research, develop practical solutions, and present recommendations to address current and emerging challenges in the field. Under the guidance of a faculty advisor, students will select a topic or problem, focusing on areas such as counterterrorism, emergency management, cyber security, critical infrastructure protection, or policy development. The course involves a structured process that includes problem identification, data collection and analysis, formulation of recommendations, and presentation of findings.
