CJ 522 Drugs, Crime, and Policy

This course examines the intersection of illicit drug trade, criminal behavior, and related policies in both national and global contexts. The course explores how drug-related crimes, including trafficking, distribution, and abuse, impact public safety, national security, and law enforcement agencies' capacity to respond effectively. Students will gain a comprehensive understanding of the complex relationship between drug crimes and the broader landscape of homeland security.
