BUS 470 Family Business Entrepreneurship

This course will introduce students to the fundamental concepts and practices of entrepreneurship within the context of family businesses. Family business involved understanding the functions, issues, operations, strategies, and changing business matters of the family enterprise from a strategic perspective. Topics include but are not limited to the strengths and weaknesses of family businesses, managing family business conflict, succession planning, business life cycles, strategic planning, international business, and the internal and external forces impacting the family business.
