MAT 112 Introductory College Math
This is a one-semester course designed to prepare students for college-level mathematics and concentrates on topics in
intermediate algebra. The course looks at polynomials, rational functions and radicals, with a focus on solving equations and simplifying expressions. This course carries institutional credit, but does not fulfill the college-level mathematics graduation requirement. Students must successfully pass MAT 112 with a grade of "C-" or better in order to advance to college-level mathematics.
Prerequisite
Grade of "C-" or better in MAT 100, a math ACT score of 17 or 18, or an equivalent sub-score on an appropriate placement test
