REL 331 The Wisdom Literature

An examination of the wisdom writings of the Old Testament along with the poetic and apocalyptic literature of the Hebrew people, this course gives attention to historical experiences of the nation of Israel and to parallel traditions in other ancient Near Eastern cultures.
