Principles of basic pharmacology, aligning with Medical Surgical Nursing I includes drug classifications, pathophysiologic basis for drug therapy, and special considerations for drug administration. Responsibilities of the professional nurse in patient-centered, safe, effective medication administration are emphasized. Prerequisites: NUR 343, 346. Co-requisites: NUR 344, 441. Summer.
