MIS 240 Intro to Computer Programming

This course introduces the student to the fundamental principles of computer programming by introducing the programming constructs used by all programming languages. Procedural and object-oriented languages will be introduced and one language will be the vehicle for the assignments and examinations throughout the course. In addition, login and arithmetic concepts will be applied to the programming process so that students will finish the course with an essential knowledge and understanding of programming. This foundation will allow students to create software programs that solve problems in many disciplines and many programming languages. Fall.
