EDU 200 Economic Concepts and Applications

This is an introductory course designed to acquaint the student with the fundamental tasks of all economic systems with emphasis on the overall structure of our economic system. This course should give the student a broad view of our economic system, the role of government in the economy, the function of monetary policy, and income determination and measures. Technological applications that may be used to teach these economic concepts in the classroom environment will be introduced.. Professional dispositions will be assessed. This course does not meet the economics requirement for students receiving a bachelor’s degree in business.
