Visitors are welcome at all times on the University of Tennessee Southern campus. Administrative offices in Grissom Colonial Hall & Reveille House are open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and by appointment. Visitors desiring to see a particular member of the administrative staff should schedule an appointment before arriving.

Mission Statement

The University of Tennessee Southern, located in Pulaski, Tennessee, is an institution deeply committed to its students-first mission and to creating a transformational student experience. Grounded in the liberal arts and sciences, UT Southern integrates experiential learning to provide purposeful and impactful academic opportunities. Founded in 1870 and operated for 150 years as a small private college, UT Southern joined the University of Tennessee System in 2021. Building upon the rich history of the campus, UT Southern remains dedicated to student success. The university offers a range of undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs across various disciplines, ensuring personalized and high-quality education. UT Southern is dedicated to community engagement, economic development, and meeting emerging workforce needs. As a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, UT Southern fields 19 nationally competitive athletic teams.
