CHE 421 Physical Chemistry I

This course will cover the first, second, and third laws of thermodynamics; Gibbs energy and chemical potential; chemical equilibrium; electrochemistry and ionic solutions; and an introduction to quantum mechanics. Other topics may be included at the instructor’s discretion. This course includes three hours of lecture and a three-hour laboratory per week
