NUR 340 Pathophysiology I
Emphasis is placed on cellular biology, mechanisms of self- defense, sleep and sensory dysfunction, infection and inflammation, hematologic dysfunction, fluid and electrolytes, acid base imbalance, and beginning renal, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, and respiratory systems and associated basic chemistry. The concepts and application of anatomy and physiology are used to promote
an understanding of pathophysiological processes.
