CJ 551 Terrorism: Legislation and Policy
This course examines the history, since 2001, of terrorism, the evolution and international context of terrorist groups, and the causes of and motivations for terrorist acts. Specific topics include laws, regulations, and legislation related to terrorism, along with possible future trends in terrorism and the current role of the media, governmental agencies, and entities in the prevention of and response to terrorism.
